If you are using Windows, you may have to enable ClearType (google how to enable it, it differs depending on your windows version). 
Reread the ingame setting section, your resoultion might be wrong. You are probably using viramate and didn't disable it. If you keep seeing "CURRENT STAGE: OTHER" after the gameboard was found: Press enter again to restart the process on the cmd window. It's possible your browser is zoomed out/in even if your ingame settings are right (compare the size of your gameboard to the screenshots used in this guide). Also don't cover the gameboard with your mouse. Make sure you can see the gameboard as shown on the pictures of step 5. Make sure your ingame settings are correct and you saved changes.
